Mediaforfreedom.com Award Established.
Media For Freedom (http://mediaforfreedom.com), located in the US, has established the "Mediaforfreedom.com Award" under the sponsorship of Kamala Sarup. The award will be given to a young woman journalist from South Asia including Nepal, who has made an outstanding contribution to media by publishing articles, reports, and interviews on Women rights, Empowerment, Anti-trafficking, Health, Domestic Violence, Peace, Love, Non Violence, Human Rights, Democracy and Freedom. The award consists of a $150 cash prize and a certificate of accomplishment. The award will be given every two years.
To promote freedom, women rights and women empowerment, Media For Freedom (http://mediaforfreedom.com) has a strong role to play. Establishing an award, I believe, will definitely contribute to bringing women righs and women empowernment in this World.
